Customer Service Representative

InterClean Equipment is a Michigan based specialized designer and manufacturer of large vehicle wash equipment. The company is delivering rapid and consistent growth and is seeking to expand our great team of technical sales professionals.

The Customer Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the InterClean organization. The individual will work closely with customers, distributors, outside sales and internal departments to provide timely and effective solutions to customers. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for processing all incoming quotation requests and customer purchase orders within the ERP system. Responsibilities will include activities such as quoting, sales order entry, case management, and sales support.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, Full Time
Salary Range: $22 – $27 an hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process and follow up on incoming quote requests.
  • Process all customer purchase orders.
  • Provide order status to customers.
  • Provide timely responses to customer product inquiries.
  • Process warranty requests and RMA's.
  • Log incoming cases in ERP.
  • Assist Shipping in preparing customer service shipments.
  • Serve as the ‘voice of the customer’ to all internal departments.
  • Follow up on active quotes.
  • Answer customer inquiries, and escalate as needed.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated sales success
  • General technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • Preference for experience in the heavy-duty vehicle fleet market

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of experience in business-to-business Customer Service capacity.
  • Track record for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to communicate concisely, and professionally to internal and external contacts.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Can-do attitude, relentless pursuit of answers and solutions to customers’ needs.
  • Ability to work outside of direct supervision.
  • Associates degree preferred, High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
  • EPICOR experience is a plus.
  • Bonus points for experience in the heavy equipment wash industry.
