Project Coordinator
InterClean is the leader in modern wash system product design with over 1000+ systems installed in over 30 years of business. We proudly build each wash system for specific application needs and our substantial R&D allows us to offer the best technology possible.
Our technical sales team works closely with our in-house mechanical, electrical and controls engineers to provide a truly consultative design approach. We complete the design, fabrication, build, and testing of our wash systems and then dispatch technicians to complete installation and start-up.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting InterClean’s Manager of Projects to deliver projects on time and on budget. This employee works directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. They will be the direct line of contact for customers and internal communications, help set and monitor schedules & deadlines, monitor & advise on budgets and scope changes, and track the progress of projects through completion. This employee coordinates with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are being fulfilled to the client requirements and adhere to company and department processes and procedures.

Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000 / year

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain consistent communication channels between departments, external contacts, and clients.
- Proactively communicate with internal departments to facilitate effective execution of project scope. Manage and communicate changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs (internally and externally).
- Report and escalate project concerns to the proper departments as needed.
- Report, resolve, and escalate issues to senior management in a timely fashion.
- Develop, utilize, and make available mechanisms to continuously communicate the status of project(s): 3WLA, Stage Gate Checklist, Master Schedule, etc.
- Develop comprehensive project plans/schedules to be shared with clients as well as other staff members and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Oversee operational aspects of a project and scope.
- Effectively apply and adapt methodology and enforce project standards.
- Perform risk management to minimize risks within a given project.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure they are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Assist Manager of Projects with achieving major project deliverables including engineering drawing sign-off, release to production, shipping, installation, start-up, and sign-off.
- Identify “add-on” sales opportunities as they relate to a specific project via scope review and change order process.
- Ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree or minimum of two years of relevant, direct project coordination experience in a business or engineering related field
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Microsoft Office proficient MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook required
- Effective communication skills required (written and verbal)
- Time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
POSITION PREFERENCES
- Construction and/or Manufacturing-related project coordination experience
- MS Project preferable, but not required
