Salt truck corrosion is an extremely serious and well-recognized problem.  Washing salt off from salt and dump trucks, either manually or automatically, is one of the biggest single headaches for road commissions.

InterClean developed, with assistance from the Pennsylvania Turnpike Authority, a fully automated wash system specifically designed to wash and de-salt trucks in 90 seconds after each use. The first system was installed at the Pennsylvania Turnpike Large facility and has exceeded all performance expectations.

The system does washing and de-salting in 90 seconds better than two employees can do manually in two hours.

This patented system uses a unique sequencing of high pressure pumps to reach areas such as inside the chassis beams, under the bed and between the bed and the chassis.

After the first successful introduction several such facilities have been built.  All have greatly exceeded all expectations.
